Visited right after Memorial Day weekend. Really enjoyed the property, location, and friendly owner with friendly cat!
This is not a fancy place, but it is cute, in a 1950's style. Five rooms - we stayed in #4, which doesn't have a full kitchen, but did have a fridge, microwave, coffee set up, dishes, sink, etc. The room size was actually pretty good and included a recliner, which my husband promptly took a nap in (long drive from Taos), and a ceiling fan. (FYI - #5 with kitchen looked huge through the window!) Bed was quite comfortable! Water pressure was a little strange in the shower, but that is part of the quirkiness.
All of the rooms face a cute little patio/lawn/rose garden with a swing, a couple of outdoor tables, and a couple of grills for your use. It's just off the main drag, but very quiet, and we had no problems either walking around uptown, or hopping in the car to drive to West Sedona or a hiking location.
The owner was very friendly and really helpful when it came to restaurants and great hikes. We did two of his recommended hikes that were just up the road from the motel and they were great! Saw two people in two hours, but lots of those famous red rocks. Also did the West Fork trail along Oak Creek - many more people on this hike, but still very nice green trees and creek hike (less of a red rocks focus).
Other tenants were nice and quiet and location was quiet for those light sleepers (like me).
Would return!
