“Great views of Sedona's Rock Formations!”

Nice motel facing the highway but noise is not a problem. Its really in Oak Creek but Sedona is literally just up the road and its nice to get away from the congestion in Sedona. Bottom floors have jacuzzi's and the top floor has fireplaces. The top floor has the best view of the fantasic rock formations.

No pool but we were so busy sight seeing we didn't miss it.
Wonderful breakfast included. The room windows have screens and open which means you can get some air in the room without having to leave your door open.

Young guy at the desk is very helpful and cheerful. The young blonde woman at the desk in the morning was obliging but could smile just once!

“Wildflower inn not romantic”

Doesn't look as good as the website. They were running special pricing. However we booked with AAA to be safe. They quoted $20 more for the cheaper option. AAA was great in working out the details. The fireplace - don't bother for the price increase. It didn't work and it wasn't a romantic venue. The furniture is very basic and the 2 queen mattresses worn. Bathroom basic and ok..Clean.
L shaped bldg. facing a corner. Could see one large rock while sitting on their common deck (seating for 4 for the entire motel) through all the telephone wire and street lights. Dry fountain- not pool. Not a good view to soak in. Breakfast. waffle batter spoiled. Went across the street for real breakfast instead - was ok.
For 1 night - it was a basic ok. Seen better days.

Hotel never responded to my online request. Does not honor the tour packages as advertised on the website but didn't tell me in the three times I spoke with them on the phone. Toilet was broken and they never fixed it. Breakfast inadequate.

“Great Inexpensive Hotel”

When we first drove up to the hotel, it wasn't what I expected. It was rather small and the buidling looked older. However, once we got into our room, it was very clean and cozy. The price for staying here was very reasonable considering we were staying in Sedona. The staff were very friendly and willing to give us recommendations for different activities and places to eat. The view from our balcony was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back.

“The Good, The Bad, The Unfriendly”

Wildflower Inn

11 Jun 2006
8/9 found this review helpful

The Good-
The hotel was clean, the price was good for the Sedona area, the evening front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was quite comfortable.
The Bad-
The deluxe continental breakfast was anything but deluxe. If bagels and toast with apple or orange juice qualify as a deluxe continental brakfast, I will be asking for an extraordinary continental breakfast in the future. The dental office size dixie cups did nothing to help this either
The two mini pillows on the king size bed needed upsizing.
The Unfriendly-
The red headed lady who was at the front desk in the AM acted like she was the concierge at the Abu Ghirab Hilton. She did not respond to greetings and acted as if you were stealing from her at the previously described "deluxe continental breakfast". When I checked out, there was no "Thank you. Please come back soon."
