We have been visiting Sedona for 27 years and we used to stay at Los Abrigados which became ridiculously overpriced a few years ago. This is a reasonable chain motel. It is of a reasonable standard and its prices ( for Sedona anyway ) are acceptable. The staff are friendly and helpful. We always ask for either 104 or 106 because they are close to the swimming pool and have a large open area that you can sit on with a fabulous view.

Great value at under $70 for a very large comfortable rm w/a partial rock view, large selection at breakfast, warm pool, and free internet in lobby! I would definitely stay again. The hotel was full but still wasn't noisy.

We found the room very average to below average. It had the feel of a old motel that needed to be completely gutted and redone. We were up most of the night because of the traffic going in and out of the K next door. The breakfast was not the usual for comfort inn. They ran out of pancake mix and the only other choice was yogurt, bagels or rolls. The pool was fine and a nice hot tub.

“Great place to stay!”

Stayed at the Comfort Inn Sedona in July 2006. Found it to be a super nice hotel. Our room was extra large-maybe 1/3 larger than most average hotels rooms. It was as clean as could be, very modern, and quiet. The rooms as well as the corridors and the rest of the property were all in excellent shape. The breakfast is adequate. The location is good-the red rocks are visible from the front of the hotel, and many of the rooms face this direction. There are restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The pool area is a tad small, but is nice and clean, with a nice hottub. Hotel seems to be well managed. No elevator is the only glitch with this hotel. Otherwise, I found it to be a quality place to stay in Sedona, and would stay there again.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Sedona over the 4th of July week for 4 nights. It is a big purple building. It is walking distant from Shugrue's Hillside Grill and Javelina Cantina and a few pricey galleries. About a block away is the Tlaquepaque resort area. Great shopping and you can drive in and out of there even if you aren't staying at the Los Abrigados resort. What they don't tell you, is that if you follow the road all the way back, there is a miniature golf course in the back that is $5 per person. It is along a creek and there are many ducks there. Very cute. There are a few restraunts in this Tlaquepaque area too. We ate at On the Rocks, which is a sports bar, good prices $6-15. There are a few other restaurants there too. If you have time, you can sit through a timeshare tour and we ended up getting free first class tickets for the Verde Canyon railroad. It was great. Worth the 2 hour lecture and there is no pressure to buy. All of the main shopping is about 1 mile from the Comfort Inn, but it is the only main chain hotel to stay at other than the Best Western within a mile of the Sedona "strip". The forest was closed due to the fires, but it opened on our last day there, so we took a Pink Jeep Tour. Highly recommend the Broken Arrow tour. It is EXCELLENT! This was our 3rd time to Sedona and we will be back.
