We chose this hotel at the last minute for a quick overnight stay in the Phoenix area. We wanted a reasonably priced hotel and this was good value for the money we paid. When we arrived at 8.15pm the parking lot of the hotel was nearly empty, the check-in was easy and receptionist very pleasant. When we got to the room, I looked around and saw no fridge, which I had on my confirmation, so went down to enquire and the reception said they only come in the suites but she would upgrade us to a suite for the same price as the room. The room & suite were both a reasonable size, the bathroom extremely clean (sink/vanity outside the bathroom), with shampoo/conditioner/soap and lotion. The fridge however when we plugged it in & put it on high, did not get very cold, but was adequate for the sodas we had. If you have to keep something very cold, it certainly wouldn't do the job very well. There was a small sofa, coffee table and ceiling fan in the suite, along with a small dining table and desk. The TV was old style, which disappointed my husband, but worked OK. The hotel itself is away from the nearest busy street, with several restaurants within a short driving distance..nothing really that you could walk to. The bed and pillows were comfortable, but furniture was lower mid range, but not damaged or worn. Breakfast was OK, eggs, sausage and hash browns, waffles, 3 types of cereal (not the kid friendly type), cake doughnuts, mini muffins, bagels. Seating was limited, my husband counted only 18 seats, which was fine for us as the hotel wasn't too full, but I can imagine when it is, most people would have to take breakfast back to their rooms. I tried to use the computer provided in the lobby, but the internet connection was so slow I gave up. One thing to note - they charge you $1.50 a day for the in-room safe, but you can have that charge taken off if you tell the reception on departure that you want the charge removed, which I did. The hotel was good for a overnight/short stay and the rate we got was excellant.
