Thought this just an ok place. We were told we were being given an upgrade, but room didn't seem in any way special. No breakfast, no restaurant, no guest laundry. Think we would prefer Best Western if we ever went back as we ate there, even for breakfast, after trying a nearby restaurant. Only good points are it's position hear to the canyon gate and it was clean.

Close to Grand Canyon, nice rooms and not too big.
A couple of restaurants closeby for dinner.

Tusayan is just outside the south gate to G. Canyon, a short drive in. The town exists for that purpose only, and has several hotels. So its full of tourists. Room was basic, clean, functional, and property was pleasant.

I liked the lodge itself....although the young male clerk at the reception desk was a bit
rude and curt. It is a basic, comfortable, convient place too stay. A bit on the expensive
side for what you get.

Red Feather Lodge is at the entrance to the Grand Canyon. The location is great, and much closer than Williams. It's worth it to stay here (Tusayan) if you're going to the Grand Canyon. There are several fast food and decent restaurants close by, the rooms are fine, service is fine. This isn't a 5 star place, but it's great for the price and unbeatable location.
