I invited a friend from Canada to see the Grand Canyon on a whirlwind four day trip to visit me in Vegas. After reading such great reviews of the newly remodeled Rodeway Inn I thought I would give it a shot. I rented two rooms each boasting a King size bed. The motel sits right on the main street that runs through Williams. What a great clean, and totally convenient location this was. We were able to see the canyon and still make it back for an absolutely enjoyable evening with dinner walk and entertainment. Williams is no big lights, fancy tourist town, but more intimate, simple, slow and homey. The motel was furnished just as the review stated. It was modest, yet had all the amenities we needed. I would highly recommend this motel for what it is. It is great for a few nights or even more if you dont need all the amenities of major hotels (pool, fancy fitness centers etc.) If you want a great place to lay your head and enjoy romantic evening in williams, this is your place. Hope this helps. BTW, the people that run the motel are so friendly and helpful. I had a conversation at the breakfast with the caretaker and she was super nice and easy to chat with.

No issues with this hotel. We drove from Las Vegas (stayed at The Hotel!!) to visit the grand canyon. We checked in, rested a bit, then went to the park. check in/out was a breeze- they check you out the night before, so you just leave the keys when you leave.

We booked last minute- 2 weeks before- so all lodging in the canyon was booked. Our options were a chain motel (super 8, etc), or a few unknowns. We were happy with our stay here. It was super clean, very modern decor, free coffee/pastries in the morning across the street, and very comfy beds. You can see some of the old structure- the walls aren't quite even, a hole or crack here or there, nothing serious. You could tell it wasn't a 5 star, but we were happy. Outside is deceiving!

Only thing to complain about it the tv room- whn you walk in, we had a little sitting room (like pics in other reviews) with an LCD tv and 2 chairs. It was very nice- but for one night, we would have been happier to watch tv from bed. You couldn't angle the tv to view from the bed. Oh well, we sat in chairs and it didn't kill us!

Second, and not a complaint cause it was nice, the toilet was heated. Not intentionally, I'm sure, but it was hooked up t hot water. You got a steam bath when you sat down. If you get the sme thng, amek sure you close the bathroom door when you go out (or leave the AC on). We didn't do this, and the room was quite warm when we returned at the end of the day. The AC cleared it up in about 30 minutes.

Also, if you don't like the free coffee (which has cream susbstitute powder), there is a neat coffee house right next door. The owner was very courteous and makes the BEST lattes/mochas! They had a drink named after route 66 which I was tempted to try.. it sounded very yummy!

The rooms were of a good size and had appropirate amenities. The motel is in an excellect position for exploring the town of Williams and is very suitable for an overnight stop. You might, however, hear the sound of the trains in the early morning. I slept through the five o'clock siren although my wife did not. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and were very helpful in suggesting places to eat and vist.

As other travelers, we were disappointed by this motel. It is true that the rooms are nice looking since they were renovated recently but It is way too expensive, especially for the 4th of July weekend. The beds were hard, the pillows too high, the air conditioning loud and moreover the railroad is close by and trains honking woke us up 3 times during the night.

This is a 50s motel with a new paint job and room remodel. The rooms are small and cramped. However, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. We stayed here because of the rating and reviews. We were very disappointed. No laundry room. Breakfast was coffee and danish. No pool. This motel was the worst on our trip and was also the most expensive. If this the best in Williams, go to Flagstaff or Kingman.
