After a long journey through a snow storm, our family of 5 was greeted warmly, curbside, by the owner KC. We were offered hot complimentary beverages and given a tour of the house. Fireplaces, pool table, piano and a popcorn machine. Kids loved it. Include Roxy, the house dog, and they were in heaven.
The rooms are clean, warm, and cozy. Our rooms were located in the guest house, providing a bit more privacy.
The Inn is 1/2 mile from Rt 66. Away from the crowds, but an enjoyable walk into town for dinner.
To some it does not have the glamor of a hotel. No big flashing lights here, or valet parking. One guest apparently left without even stepping foot in the place. Big mistake. We loved it!
We stayed in Williams for our journey to the Grand Canyon. Took a guided tour with Marvelous Marv, whose link is on the Sheridan site. Marv lived beyond expectations! Don't take the train. Call Marv. Educational, entertaining, and a long time local.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, breakfast is served at 8am in the dining room. Buffet style. We enjoyed fresh fruit, hot apple cinnamon pancakes, eggs, sausage....need more??
