“Place was OK”

Quality Inn Mountain Ranch Resort

Like many of the other reviews I'd agree that this is a motel with a facelift and the facelift isn't very recent. The place was quiet and relaxing.

Rooms were clean and spacious but fairly basic. The staff were friendly and answered all questions.

You defnitely need a car to get around as there's nothing nearby. Williams is about 6 miles away.

“bumed out”

Quality Inn Mountain Ranch Resort

4 May 2008

My best friend was having a wedding in the area and suggested this was the nearest place to stay. I made reservations for my boyfriend and I for the weekend, which included friday night and saturday night, leaving sunday. We also recieved 30$ for the restaurant, which at first sounded great.
When we got into the room, everything looked great, great bed, plenty of pillows, great blanket. The heating in the room was terrible, you had to get up and turn it on, and get up to turn it off when it got too hot. The room is small, the tv was on the far end of the dresser which is lower then the bed, so the only person to be able to see it comfy without setting up to watch is the person laying on that side. There was no fan in the bathroom witch i thought was strange.
we didnt spend much time there but to sleep except when we went to use our 30$ credit for the restaurant. We went to the restaurant sunday before we left, we ended up running into a few people from the wedding also, there were about 12 of us. We all came at different times, and ordered at different times. The service was terrible, several times we had to get up and go refill our own coffees and get silver wear. Everyone had seperate checks to keep track of who owed what. When my boyfriend and I got our bill, it was not the right food on it, and a few others were also messed up. It took them 30 minutes to come back with new ones that were still messed up, for the gratuidy on the first bill was 4 bucks and now it was at 12 bucks. She had to go back and fix it again, when she came back i inspected it again, i used the credit we had. It was a 2 hours experience, we got one ham and cheese omlette, and a 2 egg breakfast, one coffee, one pepsi and the total was about 28 dollars.(expensive).
We went to go check out and i noticed on their computer screen i had two charges from the restaurant, there was someone sitting at the table who left and didnt put their room number on their bill so the restaurant figured that since they were sitting at the table with us they would just charge it to my bill! My boyfriend and I were very upset a manager had to come remove it. Over all i would not stay here agin...

“Very disappointed”

Quality Inn Mountain Ranch Resort

My husband and I attempted to stay here. The air conditioning does not work well at all. After two hours of waiting for the air conditioning to cool the room, it still was about 80 degrees in there. The air conditioning unit blows against a wall inside the bathroom. Not effective at all.

When we tried to get a different room with better A/C, we were informed that all the rooms were similar in design, and they were booked anyways. We asked for a refund because they advertised that they had A/C, which was not adequate. They denied our refund because we were already in the room. They staff on duty was rude and NOT helpful.

I can not believe that AAA recommended this hotel. They need to see it again. I have stayed at other Quality Inn hotels before and have been very pleased. This did not deserve the Quality insignia.

We then went to the Best Western down the road. It was very nice, and it's A/C cooled the room within 15 MINUTES, and it was better located as well.

“Same old Quality/Ranch”

This Ranch/Hotel sits right off of I40, it is very convenient to get to. I felt it was a bit over priced for what you get. Where it is pretty from the front veiw, it is really just an old strip motel with a face lift. There are horses at this hotel/ranch, they are right behind the hotel. So if you want to open the bathroom window, because there are no fans in the bathroom, that is the smell that will greet you from the window. If you would like to BUY a continental breakfast at the restaurant it will cost you $6.00 for a dounut or a muffin and a cup of coffee. But on a good note it did seem clean in the room.

“Deluxe room - but nothing deluxe about it”

Quality Inn Mountain Ranch Resort

30 Sep 2007

We booked a deluxe room for the 2-nights stay and paid nearly $125/night for it. But have to admit there was nothing deluxe about the room. The only good thing about the hotel was the outward appearance and the evening lighting. The room was not a penny worthier than a Super8 or Motel6 room that we could have gotten for much below $100/night -
1) with stained comforters and uncomfortable bed
2) the wash basin all torn and stained,
3) the tub which had dirty corners and
4) extremely noisy plumbing

The stains and dirt was visible even in the poor lighting avaialbe and we could only imagine how it would look like in bright light.

One would assume that for this kind of pricing they would provide complimentary breakfast, but no. Only thing we could appreciate was the restaurant which seemed decently priced.
