My wife and I stayed here for one night before travelling to the Grand Canyon the next day. This is a typical Fairfield Inn by Marriott. Hot breakfast in the morning is the best part about the place and of course its free too. Our room was bigger than average as they placed us in a handicap room, so the bathroom was nice and big. This place has to separate buildings for guests which is sort of inconvenient if you have a family and they book you into two different buildings as its a bit of a walk between the two. There is a pool if its warm enough to swim, although this time of year its not. The bed's are comfortable and nice. This property is also right off the highway, although you won't hear it from your room, which is nice. One thing to be aware of is this hotel says its at the Grand Canyon, but its not. Its about 60 or so miles from it, so if you're planning on outstanding views you'll be disappointed. We probably would have rather stayed somewhere closer to the south rim, but we had a good time anyway. The rates appeared very similar to what this hotel charges in Williams.

Booked two rooms at the Fairfield Inn in Williams for an overnight stay after a trip to the Grand Canyon with family and would never stay at this hotel again. We were very aware that this is the budget line for the Marriott hotel chain and expected at least a clean room! Both rooms we booked had very uncomfortable beds, blankets had stains and hair (long and short) all over them, hair around the drain in the tub, mold around the shower, hair around the sink in one room from a mens shaver, a hole in the wall around the toilet paper holder in the bathroom, a loud heater, and thin walls! We exchanged blankets at the front desk but the ones that the manager gave us still had long hair on them. The manager was friendly and apoligized and took $10 off each room rate...however I would have rather driven 4 hours home than had a sleepless night in this "motel"! Needless to say I would stay away from this place!

Gross, gross and can I say gross! The front desk lady had to be told what Marriott policies were (by me and I am only a rewards gal...not an employee) She was horrible. The room was dirty, I didn't expect an average Marriott resort....it is just a hotel. But it should be dumped by Marriott. This hotel is an embarrassment! I stayed there for the easy drive to the Grand Canyon. Next time I will either stay in the grand canyon and camp (it would be cleaner) or drive the short distance from Flagstaff!

She is the BEST!
