Stayed at Snowlakes apartments during a ski holiday and overall was impressed with this hotel. Check in was quite efficient (Note: reception require a single passport and credit card as room deposit), and the room was a decent size. The room consisted of 4 single beds, TV (only CNN and BBC world in english), 2 big wardrobes, desk, chairs and on suite bathroom. The room was extremely clean but there was a few items that needed replacing such as the TV scart lead (needed strategic positioning to get reception), the shower holder (was almost hanging off) and the handle to close the blinds. the later of which the Hotel did try and charge us for but after a brief discussion agreed it was wear and tear. The heating system was adequate and there was also a small balcony that looked out into the street and was useful for cooling bottled water as there was no fridge in the room.
Down stairs there was a bar area with 2 pool tables and table football. There was also an internet area (not free) and a locker area for ski equipment. We decided to get lockers closer to the slopes though as carrying the equipment could be tiring especially for beginners. the buffet breakfast at the hotel was good, consisted of a range of cerials, french bread, selection of cheese and ham, croissants, fruit, stayed here for a week and didn't get bored of the selection. The hotel didn't serve food at any other times.
The staff at the hotel were pleasant but the manager could get a little agitated when under stress. The only annoying thng at the hotel was the fact that the room could only be cleaned at certain times (dependant on work load) and this wasn't always the most convenient time for the residence.
The location of the hotel was good, it was close to some of the lively bars and was only about a 10 minute walk to the slopes, but pas de las casa is quite small. The hotel didn't have a spa/swimming pool or gym but there was a fitness centre 10 mins away.
