Stayed at Florida Spa Hotel for short break with a girl friend, booked late and wasn't too sure what to expect of hotel or resort.
Hotel was very pleasant surprise, wonderful, warm, friendly service from all staff, without exception.
Immaculately presented modern hotel, spotlessly clean.
Twin room a tad on small size, but all conveniences provided, such as fridge, flat screen TV, huge wardrobe, free safe, tea and coffee making facilities.
Bathroom was ultra modern with amazingly powerful walk-in shower.
Request sea view room - views from balcony were breathtaking.
Food was, on the whole, excellent, definitely something for everyone - plenty of fresh tasty salads and piles of fresh fruit.
Pool was surrounded by neighbouring buildings, so only approx quarter of the sunbeds had all day sun, bit disappointing.
Fuengirola was lively resort, but felt safe, reminded me of Brighton rather than Blackpool!
Would recommend you book this hotel - enjoy!!!

“Lovely Modern Clean Hotel”

We have just come back form a week stay in this hotel. We had originally booked the Pyr Hotel but had to leave it as it dirty and dingy. When we went looking for another hotel this was next door it to and there was a huge difference between the stardards in both hotels. The Florida is modern, bright and clean, the staff were all very friendly. The room were lovely we had a standard room and even though it wasnt huge it suited us perfectly. This hotel is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet holiday it may not be good for kids as the pool area isnt very big.

“Good location/modern”

Florida Spa

On arrival, hotel has a nice reception area, clean and modern lobby.
Staff at check in very couteous and helpful.
Rooms everything you require, full english satelite TV,fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, and even robes.Very clean and modern also.
Rooms are a little small but they have a balcony area also.
Good location beach across the road and bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Only diappointment was the €6.00 car parking fee the hotel wanted daily and the charge for the internet although we used our dongle.
Also €12 charge in the spa suite to utilise the sauna and steam room was unbelievable and this was a charge for paying guests !!!!!! imagine if you wanted to use that facility every day during your vacation,a little expensive !!!!!!!!!! the pool and jacuzzi free.
Restaurant lacked atmosphere, typically open plan area.Buffet breakfast good quantity but tasteless and all food spread very far apart.Staff were very friendly though.

“Another Very Pleasant Stay”

Florida Spa

Our second visit to Florida Spa and hopefully it will not be the last. Bed just as hard as last time and main course at dinner still very mediocre but otherwise a delightful hotel with excellent staff and service. Not the hotels fault but something really does need to be done about the hawkers at the beach - massage, drinks, dvds, sunglasses and bags. Maybe we should have stayed at the pool. On the one day that we did, we had our wrists slapped for bringing our own bottled water! Water can only be consumed if purchased at the pool side bar. Pretty petty after paying £80 a night.

“Brilliant Hotel”

Stayed here for a week. Location great. Rooms like new - very modern and very clean, plasma TV and air con. Stayed HB basis, food was excellent each night and breakfast was great too. Only minor negative aspect is the pool is overlooked by surrounding properties. This is not the end of the world by any means and wouldn.t stop me staying here again. Overall the best hotel Ive stayed in to date.
