Love being in here surrounded by locals.
Worth tracking down as a bit out of the way unless your staying near the parador.
Very busy but the atmosphere is great and locals outnumber tourists considerably, especially in the bar. Its noisy and chaotic, friendly and very Spanish. even more noisy if Malaga are playing and winning
Good house wine in a decent glass, good tinto verano as a lighter option. Excellent free tapa with every drink, you just choose what you see in the cabinet. Fish and meat here. We had mussels- they were juicy and gambas
Did nt manage a full meal here this time but good fish choices expecially and tables on the terrace outside. There is an upstairs restaurant, closed on the night we went but I guess now most people want to be outside.
I also love how the locals in the area as you pick your way there are out on the street sat chatting with their neighbours in the evening. All generations - its a good insight into life in southern Spain.
