We booked this hotel for a very much needed xmas break. We arrived close to midnight after a very long day and were met by an elderly gentleman who didn't speak a word of english. However he did manage to get over to us that the hotel was over booked and we would have to go to another hotel. As it was midnight there was no chance of speaking to a manager so we had no choice. We were downgraded to a 2 star appartment which quite frankly was awful. The next morning we went to reception to complain, we then met at least 4 other couples in the same situation. We had to wait another night before we could have a room at the Bonanza, this wasted 2 days of our much needed break which we spent sorting this out and also repacking our suitcases. We did not receive any apology and therefore if you book this hotel we hope that you are one of the lucky ones, as this is a very good 3 star hotel.

My friend and I booked this holiday end of April hoping to have a bit of a ‘lads holiday’ but turned out it wasn’t all too good. The hotel its self pretty much looks like its something from the 1970’s but I cant fault it to much as it had what we needed. The location however is not so good, on the backstreets of everywhere else. My friend got mugged on the first night walking home drunk outside the hotel; luckily we kept money in the safe so he lost nothing bar a mobile phone. The receptionist did not speak a word of English which was a pain and couldn’t really help us. The police out there are terrible and did nothing for us!
The receptionist during the day was fine and very helpful and spoke clear English. However at night time someone else takes over who is a man who can’t speak a word of English which was a bit of a problem.
The food is okay, pretty much the same every time, and gets a bit boring, we went and eat out sometimes. I wouldn’t recommend it to any fussy eaters.
Night life is okay, nothing special. We went at the end of April; apparently the best time to go is from the beginning of April onwards, so we must have missed out. Lots of bars and clubs and you can pretty much save a lot of money by taking up PR on their offers. Lots of young people out at night time and mainly during the day, its not somewhere I would recommend to people with kids personally.

just back after a week in the hotel bonanza over christmas found the hotel not to bad have stayed in worse the staff were very friendly and helpfull rooms were kept very clean with fresh towels left each day we were half board the breakfast was very good the dinner could have been better not much choice i have to say there was a nice bar but no entertainment so nobody went there at night a good bar going to
waist would go back again b&b as it is handy to every where some good bars close by

We stayed at the Bonanza for a week self catering in October. The Bonanza is a 5 minute walk from the Beach, which is lovely, very clean and not too overcrowded. There are restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, although these are not grouped together so we wandered around the resort to try and find the best ones.
The hotel itself is what you would expect from a 3* property. We stayed on the 4th floor with a garden/ pool view.Our room was basic but looked like all the furniture was new, although there were no plug sockets in the bedrooms and the beds wernt very comfortable. The maid service was 5 days out of 7 with the bins being emptied every day. The room had a kettle, toaster, coffee machine and cooker. I found the hotel to be quite noisy at night and probably wouldnt recommend for people with small children, although it is in a good location ie, not too close to all the nightlife but close enough if you did want to go out.
The pool was a good size and you could get a sunbed easily without having to get up early!!
The reception staff were fantastic, very polite and helpful. We had a problem with our cooker one day and the maintenance man was there within minutes.
Overall i would recommend the Bonanza if you are looking for a good base for your holiday.
