Had no idea where we were going but after a week at the Oasis we have nothing but praise. Only downside was sheer volume of Spanish pensioners who get a free holiday each year courtesy of the Spanish Government although more likely sponsored by those well know solicitors, Squat,Loud and Grumpy.
Can't comment on evening entertainment as we never attended but the room always seemed full.
The resort will grow by the week with plenty of development going on. Some of the bars could do with some tlc to bring them up to a reasonable standard .
Overall a good Winter choice.

“OK....but could be better”

Fiesta Hotel Oasis Paraiso

Only had a short break here and just got back. Hotel reception is excellent- lovely and clean with fresh flower displays. Room was clean and maid service every day we were there. Hotel has 14 floors and we were on the 5th with side view to the sea, overlooking the hotel front. I think the word TIRED is how I would describe this hotel. Paintwork peeling and a bit tatty. Lots of elderly folk enjoying the winter sun and they seemed content. Major problem was unless yu were down to the pool by 8am, you won't get a bed as they were all reserved with towels with no-one to be seen. However, I will not tolerate this so I am more than happy to chuck their towels in a heap and use the beds. Saturday and Sunday the locals seemed to use this hotel so it was much busier and hard to get a bed. Pool was FREEZING so couldn't go in it. Food was ok, we didn't starve but nothing exceptional. BUt hey, its a three star hotel and from what I heard from guests, its good value for money for winter sun. The bus took ages dropping off from one hotel to another- about 55 minutes from airport and the roads are zig zaggy- not good if you get travel sick. Beach was hard to get down to-many, many steps which made it inaccesible for most people there. Good place to pop for a snack and drink was FRANCIS 2 but he closes on Mondays. Would I go again? Nope, sorry. The resort was too quiet and run down and the hotel just a bit old and tired.

“Fine for a winter break....”

Fiesta Hotel Oasis Paraiso

This hotel is adequate, nothing special - clean and basic with food of varying quality. Remote location on a small shopping street with 4 or 5 pubs. I would only recommend if you can get a cheap winter deal - the weather was excellent when we went mid-Feb. Ideal for relaxation and getting a tan.

We paid an extra £100 to go all inclusive - I wouldn't bother with this again - the lunch choice is very limited a la carte with small portions and the selection of alcoholic drinks allowed on all inclusive is also limited - they only allow half-pints of lager and not pints? - and all inclusive drinks stop at midnight! Completely different to other all inclusives we have been on in the Caribbean and Turkey. You have to sign a receipt here for everything you get on the all-inclusive.

Coffee is like mud, fruit "juice" is brightly coloured sugary squash - there is a large choice of okay food at the buffet for breakfast and dinner. They serve a fizzy cava like wine at breakfast, which was interesting! Bit early for me, though!

The staff are mainly nice - except for a horrendous woman guarding the pool who blows a whistle and gabbles at you in Spanish if you dare to sit on the edge of the pool with your feet in it, or come out and sit down on a lounger after 5pm - no rules in English by the pool prohibiting this, so I still don't quite understand the big deal - yet she was happy for small children to run screaming around the pool and dive bomb into it?

It was fine on the whole, but I wouldn't rush back!

“nice holiday”

Nice Hotel, stayed here for 1 week on a half board basis. The breakfast was excellent (proper english brekkie available)
and the dinner was okay as they did a carvery most nights.
The room was standard 3 star, no air con, but it had a fan. The maid service was very good, and a nice bonus was having sky sports and other several other chanels (although had to pay 18 euros for the week)
Down side was the entertainment was very loud, the rooms have no sound proofing so could here karoke till 1 am!!
The hotel is not 300 meters from the beach, it is 300 metres from the coast!!
The beach is a bus ride away
Bus stop is outside the hotel and is probably the best way to get around.
Overall a good stay and would recommend.

“Nice Hotel but not the best location”

Fiesta Hotel Oasis Paraiso

Stayed here for 7 days 10th February with a Thomson Package deal flying from my local airport. I had a great time mostly, food was good, I don't eat meat so can't comment as a carnivore other than I heard a few moaning about the sausages and bacon. There was a good selection of just about everything as far as I was concerned. Some of the hot food was only luke warm and some is obviously recycled and could be a bit mushy.
Room was ok, staff mostly friendly and helpful.
Paraiso is about 5 miles NW of Las Americas and no footpath along the coast, well there is but its rough and not recommended, so it’s a bus ride to a beach as there isn’t one here. The cove consists of a large slab of concrete or something, and a small patch of rock and sand.
Bus to LA costs 1.70e each way, often late and once it didn’t turn up at all !
Basically its a nice Hotel and if you like sitting around the pool all day then its fine but if you want to get out and about a lot then stay in LA or LC where there are bus stations within easy reach plus all the great beaches and all the action.
I paid £350 pp including the in-flight meals.
