The reception staff were rude, unhelpful and racist.

We stayed at Club Olympus for 1 week 6th April - 13th. Overall the accommodation was OK, always spotlessly clean with maid service 6 out of 7 days. The resort staff, especially the reception staff were very friendly and great for advice and helping with any problems. On the downside, the whole resort is a little tired and in need of re decoration in most areas. There are 2 pools on the site, both rather small and getting a sun bed proved to be a challenge, even at this time of year. We booked a 2 bed apartment which had good sized rooms and a huge balcony with great views down to the beach (It is about a 10 minute walk away) though I guess we were lucky as this view is the exception not the norm. On site there is the usual bar serving very average pool bar food, a launderette, another smaller bar, a shop / mini-market and a gym. Also, the saving grace in terms of facilities is a little shop 'Julian’s' serving great sandwiches, cakes, pastries and drinks. A real find and great value. The resort is only a 15 minute stroll along the front to Puerto Colon Marina where there are various bars and restaurants and about a 20 minute walk to the centre of Las Americas i.e. Veronicas etc. The best restaurant we found during our stay was 'Santa Fe' a Mexican place on the front by the Castle pub. Great food and entertainment. All in all it was an OK experience for a last minute week in the sun. Would we go back? I doubt it.

Regular visitors to Tenerife staying three to four times a year. Just returned from two weeeks at Club Olympus. Had a great holiday but had problems with the noise on the complex. We were situated in a ground floor apartment to the right as you go into the complex, balcony overlooking the complex road. Loud booming music played throughout the day and some nights from adjacent apartments We did complain one night when the music was still playing at 6am. The security guard did ask them to turn it down which they did but only for a short while. There was constant comings and goings and door slamming throughout the night. You could lie in bed at night and listen to the music, people going to the toilet others chanting prayers even listen to others bed time activities and just when you think you might get to sleep then think again cos out come the cleaners. They all seem to congregate outside this block and constantly shout to one another and push the trolleys up and down. Oh and I mustnt forget the traffic outside the apartment especially the rubbish lorry at two thirty in the morning. The complex does seem quieter in other areas and if I knew that I would be allocated in one of these areas then I probably would use the complex again.

Stayed here 3 weeks last november. Staff good, food good, near evrything. In other words everything excellent, except following: I was alone one week in a studio and two weeks with my husband and son in a bigger apartment. Both apartments were directly on the other side of the restaurat and pub(20-30 m). There were no possibility to have sleep before 1.00-2.00 in the night and when you just felt asleep the dust-cart emptied the garbage strigt under our balcoon. So I did´n sleep for 21 nights more or less at all. Only on Fridays when it was a changingday for new people. The place is maybe very good if you have a picefuller apartment.
