Clean, quite, very helpful staff.
Breakfast was quite good.
Afternoon tea.
Evening a wee dram.
You were made to feel at home.
The sitting area was good for conversations or just sitting and reading.
The rooms was comfortable and very clean.
Front door parking.
Free internet use. Use of the house phone to use calling cards to call home.
Mrs. Mac Donald and her daugher were wonderful and I would love to go back a stay a while longer.
Ullapool is a nice are to relax.

Dromnan is situated on the shore of Loch Broom roughly a 10 minute stroll into town. You can get right down to the shore of the Loch from the garden of the B&B.

We received a very warm welcome with coffee and biscuits. The room was comfortable with a lovely view of the loch and was spotless.

Breakfast is served in a conservatory at the back of the house which has views over the loch.

We only stayed one night but this would be a good place to base yourself for a few days.

The Guest House is set amid stunning scenery and is within an easy 10 minute stroll into the town.(We recommend a dinner at the Seaforth pub -great atmosphere and friendly!)

Dromnan has a lovely dining area which treats guests to a fantastic view across the water with a mountain backdrop. There is also an extremely comfortable lounge area for guests, which is joined on to the dining area so you can benefit from the views from a sofa! It also had a huge TV and stereo if needed.

We were given a warm welcome even though we arrived fairly late due to a long drive. The rooms were not huge, but nicely decorated and had a cosy feel.

The breakfasts were delicious, with a self-serve buffet for cereals, yogurts, juice and fruit etc, with a generous helping of cooked brekkie as well if you wanted it.

All in all a very enjoyable stay and good value we thought. The only negative I could think of is that you can hear almost everything from other guest rooms…we were dropping off to sleep and woke up with a fright as someone above flushed the loo, you can hear every squeaky footstep and murmured voice, turning on the taps etc they were by no means raucous, just quietly preparing for bed. However, we were extremely tired that night and it may have seemed a lot louder than it actually was.

Most of the guests seemed to be either mature couples or walkers so it was a very pleasant stay and we would defiantly stay again if we were in the area.

We stayed one night after crossing over from Stornoway on the ferry. We were welcomed warmly on a cold wet blustery afternoon with a cup of tea and biscuits. Our room was large with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Breakfast was taken in the solarium which is part of the large lounge area. There is a great view across the loch from here. The menu was quite extensive and our selections well presented. The staff was friendly and obliging. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the town centre a few minutes drive away. Am sure this would be a great place to explore the Ullapool region from but unfortunately we had to move on. We will know better next time. This was one of the best B&B's we stayed in during our 3 week tour of Scotland.
