We spent two nights at this hotel when walking in the Brecon Beacons. The walking deserves a review in its own right - perfect. The hotel has fantastic views, excellent food (try the Welsh goat's cheese souffle) and friendly owners who couldn't do too much for us. Pav knows all about local walks. The rooms are a tad on the small side, but they are perfectly comfortable, very clean and have everything you need. There's a large cozy bar/lounge which is great for relaxing before or after dinner. The hotel is a short way up a hill just above the canal and so it's off the main road. So no traffic noise, very quiet and just lovely. If you're travelling to this part of Wales you wouldn't be disappointed if you stayed here.
