Can't understand all the previous bad reviews. Returned yesterday from this hotel and had the most wonderful 2 week stay. The hotel, although absolutely luxurious, was spacious and clean, as were the rooms. The bedlinen and towels were changed regularly. The meals were fairly varied and, if you did not like the local stuff, then you could always have pizza or pasta cooked in front of you! There were varied salad items available, together with hot food of varying degrees, i.e. roast lamb and turkey on some days, other cuisines on others. The desserts were also varied - lots of cream cakes, fruit or ice cream. There was also "snacks" in between, i.e. afternoon pancakes from 5 to 6.00 p.m. Drinks were available from 10.00 a.m. to 11.00 p.m. Also, the Animation Team are the most wonderful to be seen. Marco and his "boys and girls" organised various activities during the daytime for both children and grown ups (volleyball, football, water aerobics, bowls, archery, etc etc and of an evening, they did carbarets, sketch shows, discos, etc etc and kept everyone amused throughout the entire holiday. In fact, we never had to leave the hotel for anything. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one with water slides and the other plain. In addition, the sandy beach is across the road should you wish to venture there. There are various excursions available should you wish to see the sights, but we found ample entertainment in the hotel not to have to leave! My husband and I are no spring chickens, but found everything was amenable to all ages, whether young or old. My only complaint is that, during our 2 weeks there, we were the only English people, although that still didn't stop others being friendly to us. I really didn't want to come back home again!!!
