On January 27, 2012, me and my wife went to Legazpi for the renewal of my passport. We arrived early so as to finished our appointment at DFA because we are planning to roam around the different tourist spots within the city. After we ate our lunch, we decided to look for a hotel where we can stay overnight due to our planned visit. We passed by near down town legazpi and we saw this attractive building named SAMPAGUITA TOURIST INN. So we both agreed to checked-in in that hotel. As we were approaching, we saw this big placard which says " THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD BUILDING". We just ignored it since we were tired and want to took a nap to regain our energy for a long day ahead. There were 3 ladies at the reception area. One of them approached us if we will get a room and we said yes..As we proceed to our assigned room. My wife went directly to the comfort room and was hesitant to use it as she saw the dirty and broken tiles, dirty sink and its smoggy mirror that you can't even hardly see yourself, and the worst thing the water looks dirty coz of its brown color. She just ignored it since she really needs to poop. While she was in the C.R., I laid down in the bed. I tried to change the channel on the t.v. but there's no remote control so i decided to change it manually, but the buttons of the t.v. was stuck up. My wife went out in the C.R. and told me to just refund our payment and check out asap. We talked to the receptionist at the lobby and asked if we can get our payment back coz we were not comfortable to stay. One of the ladies mumbled which states this way "DAPAT PATULUGIN MUNA" in my disgraced I told the lady that the hotel is very ugly and we'll look for a better one..We were able to get our money back and leave. And we cursed that we will never ever go back to this hotel ever!!
