My wife and I visited 27 Waterfalls our first morning in Cabarete, and loved everything about it! Iguana Mama is a great tour group -- they picked up up at our hotel, gave us a breakfast sandwich on the way to 27 Waterfalls and were fun and informative every step of the way.
The tour itself is actually no walk in the park; there's about a half hour or so hike the way up to the top of the waterfalls, and some of the jumps are pretty high (the highest I believe was a 24 feet jump). Still, the guides couldn't have been more helpful, and if there are any that you don't want to jump, there were alternate routes.
The water was refreshing and amazing, the jumps were invigorating and the natural waterslides were a really cool thing too. And you can't beat the views!
And to top things off, afterward everyone had a great lunch with grilled chicken, yuca and other sides. An awesome experience.
Definitely check out 27 Waterfalls through Iguana Mama's if you're up for some climbing, swimming and jumping.
Oh, and make sure to buy the DVD of the experience from the "paparazzi." You'll be glad you did, and they even deliver it to your hotel later that day!
