I've stayed several times... Still here now.. will review again when I leave... but have time to review now while memory is fresh... Hotel itself is nice, nice large screen tvs, nice new furnishings, granite like or maybe granite? countertops... very nice for a Comfort Inn and Suites... and the pool and spa is working(read the other review) - always has been working when I am here...
The staff.. Hit or Miss. The GM or main manager is a very nice guy... has always been professional. The cleaning is hit or miss, sometimes the shower curtains smell, they don't change them as often as they should - or maybe my sense of smell is hypersensitive. They will bring a fresh one if you need one. The housekeeping is hit or miss. The bed sheets are always clean, room always clean well, its the bathrooms (which take more effort) that are hit or miss.... I have found hairs in mine more than once, this past weekend was a holiday weekend they said they had contract staffing... I believe them but it was still gross... to find the private hairs in my tub... and the housekeeping manager today was mad because I raised the issue -- she is not very guest friendly, and she admits she checked the rooms so she apparently is slacking... Maybe I'm too picky -- maybe small hairs in a bathroom are nto a big deal to all but it is to me....
Front desk staff -- have always had great experiences with ninety percent but today there is a younger girl who is very rude, hangs up when you call to ask, and doesn't handle things professionally.
The rates are usually good - by lots of restaurants -- near the mall. If you get a good rate, the rooms are very nice - all have fridges and microwaves -- and if you HIT it on the housekeeping ( if you get a well cleaned room) - then its a great place to be! If you miss... well.. its not so bad... its the bad attitude of the two people I encountered today that makes one feel they don't care (and they dont') -- but I suspect the owners do not feel this way, I've seen an older man who looks like the owner (unloading stuff for the hotel) and the GM is an owner or related to I think and they are very good people. I hope to write an all positive review for them later -- hopefully they will address the few downsides of this hotel. It has GREAT POTENTIAL.
