The staff here are wonderfully friendly; nothing is too much trouble and they do it all with such charm. Food was terrific with interesting choices each evening. In fact we had requested rabbit because we knew it was a local speciality and sure enough 2 nights later we were treated to a tasty rabbit hot-pot.... delicious.

As far as the rooms are concerned, we could find no fault. Oodles of hot water at any time of day and the shower was like Niagra falls! crisp clean sheets and lovely big fluffy towels. Beds turned down at night and towels folded.

Rouen is easily accessible, about 30 minutes on the motorway and parking no problem if you arrive at about 10am and miss the morning crush.

My 87 year old mother was travelling with us and they couldn't have been more helpful and understanding to her needs. All in all highly recommended

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Paris and Normandy. We stayed at some beautiful hotels that more than lived up to their promised value... and then we stayed at Moulin de Connelles... just plain shabby, not chic. The decor was dreary, outdated, tired basic motel stuff, with a bed that collapsed in the middle. There was actually a sign in our room that asked guests not to kill bugs against the fabric covering the walls... and there were plenty of bugs, flying and crawling. A window frame inside our room was literally crawling with ants and had to be sprayed twice in 3 hours. This is one disappointing property... hard to find despite maps and definitely NOT worth the effort nor is it really within visiting distance to Rouen, as stated in the write up in some hotel guide books.....our advice would be to look elsewhere for that "charming inn in the country on the Seine."....and by the way the dinner was awful...and the hotel requires half board during peak season.
