Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was in a great position, you could go for walks along the seafront in both directions for ages and all along the way there are plenty of shops to browse in and bars and restaurants.
The hotel was very clean and the food good, although as previously stated it does cater more for the german guests.
Would go back but probably not when it is busy, think it would be very crowded.

Excellent choice for a winter/out of season break. Hotel 4* and is well located on the sea front at Playa de Palma, 50 yards from the Beach. 10 minutes by Taxi from Airport. The accommodation is first class, all rooms appear to have sea view, Staff very friendly, but most hotel residents are German and the Breakfast and Buffet Dinner is very much geared up to there tastes.
My wife and I stayed there for 4 nights and would recomment this Hotel certainly for a short break or out of season retreat.

A short taxi rip off..er I mean ride from the Airport, the Gran Fiesta is right on the beach a few miles East of the fabulous City of Palma.

Check in quick and effecient, rooms small but very clean and tidy. Walls a little thin but no problem out of season. Breakfast fine with good continental selection.

Outdoor pool was closed during my visit - well it was freezing cold !! Tidy public areas and an on site restaurant, although the area is full of shops and places to eat and Palma is a short hop on the bus anyway.

Caters largely for the German market as I found out many Agents in Germany use this hotel for holiday bookings.

Nothing bad to say, but you can do better in Majorca.

I have just returned from an Easter break in the Gran Fiesta and must say it was excellent. The location, right on the beach, is perfect and easily reached from the airport (about 13 Euros by taxi) and from Palma on the No.15 bus which runs every 8 mins. The hotel is spotless and the bedrooms are thoroughly cleaned each day. It offers a pool towel service which, for a returnable deposit of 10 euros, gets you a clean towel for the pool every day of your stay. You can even change them 2 or 3 times a day if you want. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to suit all tastes. There are lots of cheap and cheerful seafront bar/restaurants nearby but if you want something better there are several excellent restaurants on the street behind the hotel, running parallel with the seafront.

The reason I don't give it a higher rating is that it is very much geared towards its German clients. Staff and entertainment are good but assume you are German and always speak firstly in German. However, I would not let this put me off this hotel and I will definitely go back for another holiday.
