We recently stayled at Allerton House as we have family living in Jedburgh. We found Val and Brian very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere was very friendly, the rooms beautifully decorated and cosy, the breakfast choice was huge. We certainly intend to revisit later in the year. The position of the Hotel is perfect. Can't fault anything - the wine/sweet basket in the room was a lovely touch!

we have stayed in a few guest houses over the years especially in the borders and mostly jedburgh, but this must be the best so far!! The scottish welcome, the friendliness , the quality of the bedrooms, the breakfast(wow). Brian & val have only been trading for 4 weeks but the way they have put their professionalism into this business they will be putting themselves on the map for the future. Well done
