I could see past the early 1900's "addition" if the rooms were clean, appropriately appointed, and had locks on the doors (please tell me locks have been added to the guest rooms). However, the website deliberately conceals the monstrosity, and thus seeing the delapidated mess that greets you as you arrive is absolutely shocking. If the building was disclosed in advance, for the eyesore that it is, then it would be 100 times less offensive - because it is the deceit that really leaves the bitter after taste. While I would never go anywhere near this place, ever again, the views from the castle (more like a really grand estate) are absolutely stunning.
