My husband are currently staying at the Homewood Suites for 3 nights. We were supposed to stay in a different hotel, but because of the power outages to the area and our original hotel, we were redirected to stay at the Homewood Suites in Brisbane.
The room is a good size for the two of us. The room includes a nice kitchenette area with most kitchen utensils that would be needed, couch, desk, comfortable bed and pillows, and descent lighting (both natural and internal lighting). We are on the 4th floor overlooking the parking lot and freeway. Surprisingly not a lot of noise can be heard from the freeway, BUT the noise from adjoining rooms might be unbearable for some.
In the middle of the night (2 am-ish) we could hear talking and even sometimes the exact words being spoken from a tv that was on in an adjoining room. The tv sounds came on and off all night, which woke me and my husband briefly. We generally do fine with noises at night, but someone who is not able to sleep through some noise would have a very hard time sleeping at this hotel.
The breakfast was good, but also crowded area to eat (just lots of people). Making it positive, you can always take breakfast to your room, which I think is a lot nicer anyway.
My only major complaint is the noise heard from adjoining rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to those who have a hard time sleeping with some noise, nor those looking to stay more than a few nights.
