The staff was very rude, i found ants in the room and when i ask to speak to a manager i was told that he was on break and that i have to wait 30minutes for him to come back.
when he finally decided to speak to me, he was very rude and told me that they didn't have another room for me. 20 minutes after i call the front desk and a young lady answer the phone and she told me that they did have plenty of rooms for the night, i got reallly upset and went to the front desk to talk to the manager again and ask him why he had lie to me? he started to smile like an idiot and told the lady to move me.

There are always two sides to every story..in this case, we had a sold-out night, a new desk agent who was not familure with the system at the time, when looking at availability we showed sold-out, although we had rooms available because some guest had not arrived yet, this does leave room for improvement in training...which we have taken. The manager at the time was actually checking rooms to make sure they were rentable. Upon his return he was able to relocate the guest. The guest comments that he was rude is the guest rights, in reality he was trying to assit the guest best he could given the sold-out situation and the actions of the new front desk clerk...in the end, the guest did get relocated, the front desk clerk got some on the spot training on how to handle these types of issues, and the manager did his job, he took care of the guest and also supported the front desk agent in her actions.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
There is almost no parking, we had to park across the street.
There was a nintendo game controller hooked to the TV. our 5 yr old grabbed it thinking he was going to play a video game. Instead he ordered a movie. We paused the movie within a few seconds and called the front desk to tell them what had happened and that we were not watching and did want to watch a movie. They said they would take care of it. about 15 minutes later a secruity guard showed up saying he was there to fix the TV. we explained again what had happened. He said he would cancel it.
1/2 an hour latter the front desk called and said since we had ordered a movie and waited 45 minutes to try and cancel it we would have to pay for it, we explianed that we had notified them within a few seconds, the staff was rude and totally unwilling to help. The tub faucet didn't work, the thermost for the air conditioner didnt work, the outlet in the bathroom was hanging out of the wall. supposedly the room came with free high speed internet, which we were unable to connect to. When i asked the staff for help they handed me a phone #, this was on a saturday morning, when I called the # i was told they would turn it over to a technician and call me back on monday. Very helpful. With out exception the staff at this hotel was rude and totally unwilling to help with any requests or questions we had.

First I would like to explain that it takes several steps in proper sequence to order a movie, too just pick up the game controller and then start a movie well ???? but that is only one issue...the guest was never charged for the movie, and when they said they had a problem we sent someone to correct it. Regarding the other mentioned issues, we take all comments seriously. After being notified of a problem we will respond accordingly, as the guest did not complain about the other issues until this post, we have already repaired the said issues. Regarding the free high speed internet, we offer free wirless connectivity throughout the entire hotel, some laptops need to be configured to recieve the signal, although most all new laptops connect instantly, the support number is 24 hours, and I did contact the vendor regarding this to make sure it does not happen again, we also offer a business center in the lobby, plus hard wire in the event a guest does not have wireless capabilities, and we offer this at no charge.

Do Not Stay At This Hotel! We booked for 3 days and nights to explore the major studios and chose this for easy Interstate access and proximity to the studios/sites but left early due to the impossible conditions at the hotel.

Not only is it dirty and falling apart, the staff is absolutely terrible! Thermostat in room didn't work so spent two nights either sweltering or freezing despite repeated pleas for assistance. Although we were assured of bell hop assistance for my disabled husband, we were told by the front desk that no one was available when we checked in and then were ignored as we struggled to get things to the room which was cramped, shabby and offered the fewest/
cheapest amenities possible (TP that resembled paper towels! no micro, rationed coffee, pay by the minute Internet etc.)

Restaurant is worse! 40 minute wait just for coffee and water at the table! another 20 minutes before our order was taken! Outside patio is barren, no food service and filthy! Broken table unbrellas (when removed) tossed into shrubbery. The most prominent staff members were security guards!

If you don't want to sleep, eat or feel safe in your surroundings. If
you want a hotel staff to ignore you, or if you're handicapped and
need assistance with your luggage yet want to be left to figure out your own solution then this is the hotel for you!

This is an unfortunate situation and I respect the guest comments, we do our best to meet the needs of our disabled guest, infact I had just consulted with "No Barriers" consultant Ms. Goldkorn former Ms. Wheel Chair California 2002...who stayed here and we met to discuss the proper upgrades too consider as we are now in the process of renovating the hotel, we have upgraded the room decor, lighting, bedding, linens, and pillows...with the assistance of "No Barriers" her recomendations have been taken into consideration to utilize in both the guest room and public spaces, we are now looking at modernization, and amenities. We take guest saftey, comments very seriously and look forward to implementing the advice and suggestions of "No Barriers" while at the same time improving the experience for all our guest.

Convenient yes but our room quality was very poor. Musty smelling, chipped paint in the vanity, moldy old bathroom tub, towels like sandpaper. It didn't help that I was up from 3:00 am on due to the neighbors loud music and headboard banging againt the wall (you get my drift). Spend a few more bucks and stay at the Marriott.

we stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we loved the service: all staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was great! With three adults, there was optimum privacy for the smallish space. It was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return to Ramada Burbank!
