Was put up here by United Airlines after missing my (once a day) flight to Shanghai...So I don't know what the prevailing rate was at this place, but I'm guessing not cheap.

Nice hotel, good food, comfy room, great toiletries...But certainly nothing special to warrant it the 5-stars it indicates above by TripAdvisor.

Convenient to the airport, although it is a bit of a drive...Shuttle drivers were friendly and helpful, and wouldn't let you load your own luggage. On the shuttle, it was me and 5 Europeans with a TON of luggage (like 3-4 bags each)...The driver was really happy that SOMEONE gave him a tip for helping with the bags. :)

big name but low quality. no fridge, no free internet, poor sound proof between rooms......

For some unknown reason this hotel is rated 4 stars and in some cases higher. However, it is no more than a 3 star hotel with a big name (i.e. Hyatt). The room was average and the dated décor was a great disappointment. I bid and won a per night price of $60 Priceline, which made this very disappointing hotel a little more comforting on the wallet. But the savings was partially lost with the $18 per day self-parking fee. I expect a parking fee for hotel in San Francisco, but in Burlingame it simply outrageous.

There were a few good things about our 3-day stay. Check-in was excellent and fast. Housekeeping provided clean towels and made the beds perfectly each day. Access to the self-parking structure was efficient, as you use the room key to enter and exit the structure. But overall this hotel needs a complete make-over to bring it up to date with real 4 star hotels.

I've stayed at many Hyatt's and I have to say this is the worst one by far!!! If I had to plan my trip over again I'd stay at the Hyatt in San Francisco's embarcadero. Located near the airport, your looking at a 25 minute drive just to get into the city. The room we were give looked like a frankenstein. The curtains didn't match, and the furniture was old a dirty. We stayed in a suite on the inside wing of the hotel which looks down on the dining and bar area. The bed was hard and the pillows were not up to the Hyatt standard I am used to. I won't stay there again! Be careful you may get a cheaper price staying there but it's not worth a 4 star! If someone told me this hotel was a 2 star I'd say wow, this is a nice 2 star hotel.
