We had a wonderful relaxing honeymoon. Cozy, comfortable bed and robes. Very friendly staff with alot of personal touches that made our stay excellent.

For our annual trek to the Napa Valley, we considered several b & b's in Calistoga, and were not disappointed in our choice of the Aurora Park. The complex consists of six individual cottages set on a gentle slope, near central Calistoga. Our unit was a spacious and well-appointed queen, with daily maid service and a nice continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning, What really made this place wonderful was the unit itself; it was like having our own little house! The innkeepers, Joy and Barry, were extremely hospitable, and helped us plan our winery visits. I can't think of any place we'd rather stay in the Napa Valley.

When looking for the perfect Honeymoon, we came across the quaint little town of Calistoga. It couldn't have been a more perfect choice. The best part of our expereince was the B&B we stayed at, Aurora Park Cottages. We stayed in Cottages 6 at the top of the hill. I loved the french doors that opened to the lawn area. We saw Deer and wild Turkey in the early mornigns.
Joy- the new inkeeper- was a delight. She makes theyummiest pastries every morning and was so nice to talk to. I so want to move there, and joy almost talked me into it. Aside from her friendly demeanor and yummy cooking, she was so accomodating. She rushed to clean our room when our flight arriced early, came to our cottage at midnight when I was frantic to find a way to get red wine out of the carpet and was so helpful when we needed to find travel boxes for our treasure of wine we purchased. on the last day we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with the original owners Joe and Celeste, and they are two of the most adorable and friendly people I have ever met. The beds are so comfy and the people are so friendly. I could not have imgained a more personal expereince, it sure beats the imporsonal touches of staying at the Hilton, that is for sure.
SOme places we LOVED while there, Vincent Arroyos!!!! Such a generous man, he personally gave a tour of his winery, let us taste straight from the barrel and gave us a complimentary bottle of Nameless to celebrate our honeymoon... which I later spilled on the carpets.. oops. Anyways, the charm of the small winery was the best expereince we had there.
Bar Vino was a nice night cap, we especially loved La Sirena's Muscato Azul for a nice... Not too sweet desert wine.
Peju was another great place with reasonable priced wine that complimented many palats.
I just wanted to say thanks to Joe, Celeste, Joy, Barry, and Harley!!! We can't wait to see you next April when we bring my Mother IN Law up there. See you Soon!

My daughter gave us a gift certificate for a night at Aurora Park Cottages. We have been to B&B's here in Calistoga before and enjoy the area. The cottage (#3) was warm and comfortable - nice touches with the robes and over stuffed armchairs. We liked it so much we stayed an extra day! New inkeepers Joy and Barry are friendly and gave us good recommendations for dinner (Bistro Jeantry) and lunch (Checkers). We loved the wine tour at Pegases (be sure to take the cellar tour with Jason!).
