We spent one night in this hotel, and one night was enough. Although the room itself wasn't bad, the air conditioning was a nightmare. It's ancient, noisy and created a difficult sleeping environment. I can't say that my stay was awful, but I think I'd choose to stay elsewhere next time.

My wife and I stayed two nights in August here and found the hotel to be really nice, highly recommend it. After searching for a place somewhere in Napa valley and not wanting to spend more than I had to for a hotel room, I settled on the Stevenson Manor Inn in Calistoga. The hotel was neat, clean, and comfortable, we were on the top floor and thus had a vaulted ceiling in our room. A small kitchenette with wine glasses and corkscrew is provided for use as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to downtown Calistoga and not that far off of highway 29 and the Silverado Trail which lets you get to the wineries fairly easily. If you want to stay in the Calistoga area for a reasonable price, I recommend the Stevenson Manor Inn.

“Stevenson Manor Inn: Good Value”

Stevenson Manor Inn

I was looking for a comfortable, clean hotel in the Napa Valley for a long week-end getaway. Everything that I looked at online was $300+. My husband and I decided to spend our money on food, wine, massages and mudbaths, rather than a fancy hotel. When I read all the good reviews of the Stevenson Manor Inn, I decided to go for it. And it was a great surprise. While it lacked the charm of many Napa hotels and B&B's, the room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. The Inn is owned by the same people who own the EuroSpan and Inn (where I might stay next time), and when we checked in, we were told we could go to the EuroSpa for a wine tasting, which we did. We then signed up for massages at their spa. The Inn is located on a quiet spot, just out of town. We took a gorgeous run from the Inn, across the Silverado Trail, and looped around some back roads passing amazing houses and vineyards. All in all I give it a good recommendation.

Best Western Stevenson was an excellent choice in a land of one to two star bed and breakfasts. It is a great value for the money. Good location. Quiet atmosphere. Little kitchenette in the room for long stays. Typical two star / three star towels, bedding, and amenities. Not a resort or a spa by a long shot, but it serves it's purpose. Pool area was actually very nice. They could have used more pool furniture and a little more shade, but overall very nice size for the hotel. Pool was about 90 degrees in June. Felt like bath water. Excellent for swimming at night. Property manager was extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a weekend stop or a short stay, I would recommend this hotel. Anything longer and maybe you should shoot for a Spa Hotel outside Calistoga.
