We recently visited Cambria, California, on our way up to San Francisco from Huntington Beach. It was a perfect half- way stop. We stayed at the J. Patrick House, Bed and Breakfast, and
got more than we expexted. We were greated by Lori , the innkeeper, who immediately made us feel like we were visiting a friend. The Inn was very charmingly decorated and our room was fantastic. The kingsize bed was so comfortable that we slept extremely well while listining to classical music. There were fresh baked cookies before bed, wine and cheese in the afternoon and a memorable breakfast with homemade breads and quiche lorraine. Even the coffee was good. Next time we drive up to S.F we will definately stay at the J. Patrick House again. We absolutely loved it!!!

What a wonderful experience we had at J. Patrick House. We have been to several B&Bs and we really enjoyed our stay here in Cambria. The evening wine and cheese sampling was a fun way to meet the other guests and the chocolate chip cookies at bedtime were delicious. The Tipperary room was exceptional! The bed was soooo comfortable and the fireplace was awesome. The stuffed french toast was out of this world! Wish we could have stayed for more than one night. We are already talking about going back for our anniversary!

This was our second visit to J. Patrick House. We love this place. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is fabulous and how can you go wrong with warm chocolate chip cookies and milk before bedtime. What we really enjoy is the fact that there are no electronics and you get to focus on each other. The inn is non-smoking and there are no kids so it's quite. The grounds are beautiful and the main street is not far away. The innkeepers are always helpful with great dinner and idea suggestions. This time we had dinner at a great resturant in town and John, personally, gave us great directions to a hike/waterfall just a short distance away. We also took the inn's suggestion to use The Wine Wrangler for wine-tasking trip into Paso Robles. Yet another great time; we WILL be back!

My husband and I were recommended to the J Patrick House Bed and Breakfast by a dear friend. From the moment we stepped into the inn nicely nestled in the forest, we were greeted by Yolanda a warm and friendly attendant who showed us to our spacious Clare room with large kingsize bed and fireplace.
We enjoyed afternoon conversation over wine and snacks with the other guests. Yolanda and Lori were excellent in helping us to find yummy restaurants and interesting sights.
The cookies and milk at bedtime were the best. I haven't drank a glass of milk in years but made an exception to this tempting treat. The fireplace crackled and the CD music selection in the room was very soothing and relaxing.
In the morning we had a fantastic breakfast in the sunroom overlooking the English garden just beginning to bloom.
We had a lovely pleasureable time in Cambria and at the J Patrick House. We would love to return one day.
