Staying in B&B Inns is the one component that has enhanced our traveling experiences in the most positive and profound way. The Inn Keepers at the Olallieberry Inn in Cambria, California have raised the level of hospitality and service to a level that is truly worthy of praise. The collaborative efforts of the gracious owners, Marjorie, Larry, Marilyn and their exceptional staff, Dirk, Jill, Maria and others ensure that every guest receives the personal attention and level of hospitality that is unsurpassed. Their attention to detail is evident in every aspect of your stay; from the cleanliness and beautifully decorated rooms and dining area, the maintenance of the lovely gardens, the holiday decorations that adorn the "Gathering Room" and the delicious and beautifully prepared food. The homemade cookies and hot drinks provide a welcoming afternoon treat. The hors d'oeuvres such as the phyllo-wrapped Brie, tomato, cheese and basil pizza, or crackers with curry-mango spread and a variety of wines are the perfect five o'clock respite before enjoying your dinner in town. The sumptuous breakfasts are thoughtfully planned and prepared. A typical breakfast might include Swedish pancakes with Olallieberry syrup, vegetable fritttata, fresh fruit with Olallieberry yogurt, house-made granola, Friendship bread, freshly squeezed orange juice and hot drinks. This hearty breakfast will sustain you far into the day so that you will be able to explore the spectacular surrounding area. Marjorie, Larry and Marilyn are extremely accommodating and always informative about ways to spend your time in Cambria. The Inn offers massages for weary travelers. Many people have commented that Marilyn's massage is the best that they have ever experienced. an extraordinary experience in every way.
beautiful room overlooking santa rosa creek ( one of the few such views in the main part of town.)
whoever awarded it the best breakfast in america three times had it exactly right. amazing breakfast!
the pates with the wine were exceptional also.
the staff are as charming, pleasant and as helpful as anyone could ask.
and very reasonably priced.

Olallieberry inn was simply amazing! My boyfriend and I went on a 6 day/5 night, central California tour and ended up staying at the Olallie two of those nights. I truely wish we would have stayed there longer. We had the Camrbia room in the back of the first floor (right next to the kitchen). There was noise from the upstairs, but it really wasnt bothersome.
The owners were very nice and we even had a small birthday cake waiting for us in our room upon our arrival (we went for my boyfriends birthday).
The bed was SO comfortable, probably one of the best sleeps I have EVER had!
The breakfast was excellent. The first morning was valentines day and they had the table decorated so cute! It was just lovely. The breakfast table with full of conversation and everyone was very friendly.
We will be going back again for sure!

I know it's been almost half a year since my wife and friends stayed.
I always meant to write to give this place a plug, but I got back into my daily routine and forgot. Now that spring is coming around, I'm getting the travel bug again and my thoughts have gone back to that very pleasant experience we had. The breakfasts are to die for! The house is old but "so cute" according to my wife. The staff was outstanding in their hospitality and service! Our friends who traveled with us whole heartedly agree, the two night stay was what really made our trip to central California special. Our friends recommended it to their co-worker, and she loved it. In any case, you won't regret the stay. Just remember, one room has only a tub, no shower. Read all the descriptions carefully. We hope to return again, hopefully for our anniversary.

My wife and I returned to the Olallieberry because of our several good experiences from other visits. The inn is a quiet, romantic get away destination for us. The accomdations are clean and the breafast offering is always terrific.

If you like the bed and breakfast experience, we recommend the Olallieberry
