My husband and I booked this resonabley priced room for two nights, and were suprised at the size of the room when we arrived. The outside of the building needs updated and the maintaince seems a little lax, however the remodeled rooms were very comfortable and cozy. The resturant on site Citronelle, was very posh and upscale with a pricetag to match. My husband and I had a good time though, the waiter was very helpful and enjoyable. The staff at the resort was also very helpful, the daily resort fee help to reduce the stress of knowing how much to tip anyone.
Room service was prompt and the staff very nice, the food was satisfactory but the service fee was 22%, which I guess isnt too bad considering how far they have to drive to get it to you.
Unfortunatly, I woke up with a pinched nerve in my neck and had to avoid moving too much. Fortunately, there was room service, a fireplace, a very spacious room and wine! My husband was a little dissapointed we didn't golf on such a beautiful day but I seriously couldnt move my neck.
All in all a very nice place to get away, you rarely see other guests due to the size of the grounds and you are greeted by creatures all around. Not a place to party all night and not much else to do, you can swim, golf or workout in their new fitness room I didnt get to see, if you are interested. We would just mainly go to get away from the kids again.
We do recommend the resturant BAJA Cantina nearby. Casual and tasty!
