Great stay - very nice staff. Very helpful for an event I was at. The rooms were great. Very large for the area. Quality & cleanliness were tops at this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

WHY THE WESTIN: Me & my husband were going to Disneyland and some various attractions around the Anaheim area to do a pre-celebration for our anniversary. We don't have any kids so I thought it was best to stay somewhere off the row of Disneyland hotels, being that it was our anniversary and all!! It work very well since we're both still and I'm glad I didn't get to experience the hustle and loud noise of staying at any Disneyland resorts.

DECOR: Their decor was very simple and chic. I thought it was pretty updated and modern from compared to other chain hotels that I have stayed at. If you're looking for a boutique, hip, modern feel for a hotel the Westin hits those marks.

STAFF: We didn't run into too much staff while we were there. Only time we had an experience was with the employees at check-in and the valet in front. The guys who work out front are great gentlemen and will help out with your bags, door, and any questions you might have.

CON'S:
-Parking is expensive at $18 (but hey it is Orange County, CA so I kind of expected it).
-There wasn't too much of variety and selection for breakfast foods. If you were a health nut you'd go crazy over their menu though.
-Sometimes we could hear the people in the hallway, but only on occasion.
-For me the heavenly bed wasn't so heavenly. I thought it was a bit hard on my back. Then again I must have a bias though since our bed at home is the most comfortable, soft, and soothing bed I've ever been on!

PRO'S:
-Close proximity to freeway and just a walk across a bridge from the West Coast Plaza Mall. There are plenty of things to do around the area, and not a far drive at all from Disneyland and other main attractions.
-Hotel decor.
-Front Doormen.
-Heavenly Shower. It was great compared to every other hotel I've been at but I'm used to my HUGE overhead shower spray at home so it wasn't much compared to that, but overall good for a hotel.
-Flat screen television.

Not a great deal to say about this place really. It's a standard business hotel with little character to speak of, but on the other hand virtually nothing to criticise. The rooms are large and nicely decorated, with big comfortable beds. The public areas are impressive, with high ceilings and more feeling of space than you find in a lot of similar places.

The one stand-out distinguishing feature is the absence of a breakfast buffet, which means that if you have something cooked it's going to be fresher than if it had been sitting on a warming plate for half an hour. That's a nice touch, but it may cause delays when busy.

Ideal location, close to the mall and more importantly bang next to the excellent Scotts Seafood.

Definitely my first choice for a stay in Costa Mesa, and far batter than the Marriott Suites which I believe is about the same price.

This is a well done Westin convenient to SNA and the Orange county beaches. What more can I say?

Friendly, helpful staff, nicely appointed and well maintained rooms and common areas.

Gold member upgraded to "preferred floor"without asking.
