My wife attended a seminar held at the Radisson and I went along as the Designated Driver. After reading some of the reviews, I didn't really know what to expect. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pleasant young lady at the front desk and were quickly checked in. Directions to our room were clear and concise. The room, while not the biggest I've ever stayed in, was clean, well laid out and very comfortable. It had everything one could expect for a room in this price range. It was quiet and freeway noise was nonexistant. The only down side was the view of the backside of the next door bowling center, but lets face it...Every room can't have a great view!

Over all, we had a good experience at the Radisson and would stay there again if the opportunity arose. We would also recommend it to friends.

My brother-in-law got married at this hotel, we stayed here four nights since it was most convenient. Apearantly they have the lowest rates in the area for banquet events, and the staff is the most attentive i have ever met(then again i live in NY, to me Californians are much more "loving").

Our room was very easy to find and you can tell that they've been recently remodeled. The A/C-heater still needs updating, other than that you can expect a three to four star room. Sleep number beds are amazing, if you know how to work them of course.

The bistro opens early in the morning and their prices are reasonable, and With the exception of the morning waitress, everyone seems very cheerful, happy to be working there. Maybe it's just us, but the overall ambiance was relaxing, it's comforting when you see the staff working together like these young folks do.

My biggest deception was that the pool was closed, i guess they had a big fire in that section of the hotel. Also, there's plenty of parking, hooters is walking distance, there's a huge mall nearby, and 580 & 680 freeways are very close making it easier to drive around the bay area. I recommend downtown Pleasanton (about +5 mi away) for a romantic afternoon walk and dinner.

I'll just say with quickly. The place is a mess. The room had little body hairs (I'll assume from previous guests) all over the bathroom, counter tops, bed, etc.... Just disgusting. The wallpaper in the bathroom is peeling something awful. The heating a/c unit is from the year of the flood and noisy. The window/sliding door was ajar when I arrived at the room(smelly room) and was near impossible to slide along it's track to close. The whole thing probably needs replacing or a serous track lube and overhaul. The front desk clerk was friendly enough and check in and out was easy, so kudos there. There were fresh apples in the lobby as well. Parking was ample, and access to highways is good.

I would have left, but it was very late and I was only there one night. I did not complain to management as I needed to get moving at the crack of dawn. If I had time I would have insisted he tour my room to see the state of disrepair, though he has to know.....

“Don't do it!”

Radisson Hotel Dublin

3 Nov 2007

We arrived to a dog convention being held in the hotel. I was wary of smells from the dogs and barking, but was pleasantly suprised on this account only. The room they gave us smelled horrible, we walked into the room and it was overpowering! They told me there were no other rooms like it, but only minutes before when i checked in the other young lady who checked me in had asked me a floor preference. So, they changed our room (I didn't mention the smelly room was also very loud with the freeway traffic!) and thankfully it was quieter. We paid extra for the "nicer" room, it was small, stinky, I could hear the people above us throughout the night on their squeaky bed. I was even more frustrated because the extra's we were paying for were very disapointing, and the room was tiny- and most frustrating of all. When i kindly let them know how horrible the experience was they offered us breakfast, or to upgrade our room. We were on our way out, and didn't want to stay. They have little pledges all over the hotel promising great service or it's free. They should have (the manager was there) at least knocked off a percentage of the bill. I had booked there because it was three stars according to AAA, but it was awful. We had booked this hotel just for fun, we were going to S.F. (not even two hours from us) and we thought it would be nice to stay the night somewhere ---what a waste of money, i wanted to go home to my own bed!!!! The 'number beds' were also very disapointing.

“No pool, even though it is advertised”

Me and 4 other members of my family went on a 2 week trip to CA. 6 nights in San Francisco/ Oakland and 8 nights in LA. We stayed at the Raddison for the entire 6 nights of our first leg of our journey. We booked on Priceline for $70 a night which during the same time their rates were $140 a night. When we arrived we learned that their pool has been closed for OVER A YEAR, yet it is still advertised on their website. Our room appeared to be clean, but after walking on the room carpet for a few minutes, we discovered our socks got filthy. The TV had a limited amount of different stations to select as well.

The rooms were furnished with Sleepnumber beds which was nice as we were thinking about this mattress as a replacement to our current one. The hotel is located in a nice area, with easy access to I-580 and I-680 and the Dublin/ Pleasanton BART station is about a 5 minute drive away.

For $70 a night in Northern CA, this was an OK hotel, but I would have been mad if I would have paid more than $100 a night for this place.

If I travel here again I would stay in the area, but would try to get a different hotel.
