“Amerisuites Hotel, Dublin, CA is so lovely”

Hyatt Place Dublin/Pleasanton

Amerisuites hotel is so lovely. I liked it so much. I stayed in it with my family for 27 days. We liked it soooooo much and recommend it to every body. The hotel is sooooo comfortable, the suite is so cozy and spacious, clean and nice. Everything you need is inside the suite: comfortable wide beds, central nice airconditioner, fridge, coffee maker, microwave, sink, forks, spoons, etc.., hair dryer, iron and ironing board, TV, lovely bathroom with nice hot shower and bath, There is also so high speed internet, I have never found a speed so high like this. It is WI FI or by the Ethernet jack. There is a big desk too. The breakfast open buffet is so nice, it contains everything I need, everything is excellent, all food is delicious. Also the high speed internet is WIFI in the lobby, so you can use it, it's free and it is also free at the suite of course. There is a fitness center, swimming pool. The employees at the reception and at the restaurant, even the house keepers are so kind and lovely. They can offer any help you need. They are cheerful with a wide greeting smile and so helpful. Look! I admired this hotel. In additon to all what I wrote, its location is wonderful, just a few steps to wonderful cheap stores and restaurants, cafes, Starbucks, Fuddruckers, TJ Max, and so and so and so... Wow! There is also the Regal Cinema so near. It's a very good hotel. I really recommend it to everyone and don't believe anyone who said something bad about it. Trust me. Just go.

That free continental breakfast isn't worth the cost. I've never had eggs SO bad, and SO cold. And don't believe the pictures of it either. Maid service, slip shod. Stayed 4 nights, often no wash clothes, dirty towel left.
Room okay, but careful not to close the door to the toilet on your toes, its a a tad tight. I stay in hotels/motels about 25 weekends a year, and this ranks below average. Not again.

This is a good hotel if you are just staying for the night. It seems to be a bit out dated, and the rooms are a bit small. It's right in the middle of all the action with the shopping center and restaurants nearby. I walked over to "On the Border" and got dinner and a Margarita after a long day of work. The AC/Heater is right by the bed, so not only is it loud, but you get really cold really fast. Good breakfast in the morning, and plenty of parking outside. Freeway close. Typical business traveler's hotel.

“Not sure...”

Hyatt Place Dublin/Pleasanton

17 Sep 2005

The location is obviously great--near the shopping center and new Dublin. But beware of some things...
The bathroom is tiny and I mean when you open the door the toilet is right there. You can barely get in the door to close it to shower and use the toilet. The small vanity is outside right near your bed. So if your traveling with someone be prepared to get ready in front of their bed.
The bedspreads are those cheesy old type that seem like there from a thrift store. I just took mine off the bed.
One more caution-actually 2 more...
One is in the morning (or whenever) the doors out of the room slam and are very loud. Don't plan on sleeping in. It starts as early as 6:00am.
Second in the morning I heard a cell phone ring--like it was right there in my room! Then I heard a distinct "hello", etc, etc...yes the neighbor and I had to hear the whole conversation! It was like he was in the room. The walls must be paper thin.
And in the AM don't eat the fruit. I don't know where they get it but it taste horrible. Even my dog wouldn't eat a piece of apple which she usually loves. Good Luck!

“Good location.”

I had to stay in Dublin for two nights on 8/25 and 26 on a business trip. The room had been reserved as a 'one guest' though my wife accompanied me. We ended up with two twins probably because of the booking through the internet. Oh well, it was only a short discussion on this 12 day road trip. We can handle seperate accomodations for a two day break - we stayed put. The bathroom light bulb blew up on the first day and was fixed between leaving for lunch and coming back approx. 2 hours later. Very nice staff at the front desk. The pool area is not too pretty and the outdoor pool was too cold for the weather conditions anyways. The included breakfast was outstanding with freshly prepared dough in cups for your own waffles with condiments and a large selection from cottage cheese to hard-boiled eggs to fruits.
The grumpy waitress in the dining area could have used a cheering up for the two mornings but since she was like that on both days we didn't take it personal. There is a good size Shopping Mall across the hotel parking lot with an IMAX theater and very nice restaurants in a pedestrian zone that reminded me of Europe. I would come back to this one but then the Hilton is just down the street a few blocks.
