We stayed in this hotel in late July, 2006, and have stayed there numerous times before. It's a good, family hotel with a convenient location if you're traveling on the I-5 (say, between L.A. and Portland). It has a pool and jacuzzi that are always crowded but still nice after a long day's drive. Over the past few years, better food options nearby have opened up--this year, we discovered a Quizno's (unfortunately, this IS a better food option--before that, other than the overpriced and not particularly good Anderson Split Pea Soup Factory, there were just things like Del Taco) and a Starbucks, which make the stay more enjoyable. There's a nice, typical Holiday Inn breakfast at the hotel in the morning too.

We stayed here on the way down to Disneyland. This hotel is right off I5 in Santa Nella. The rooms were nice and clean. We had a queen/queen room, there was also a fridge and microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in a room on the second floor and I didn't see any elevators so we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. The pool and hottub are outdoors and seemed pretty clean. This hotel also serves a free contintal breakfast with plenty of seating and a nice variety. We walked in and got a rate of $71. I would definately stay here again.

This hotel was a nice surprise - how did we miss it on our way north? We decided to stop here on our return trip to San Diego in Aug. 2005 and were very glad we did! We'd had a long drive from Roseburg, OR that day.

Check-in was friendly and easy. The room (on the 2nd level) was very spacious and clean. Good to have a refrigerator, coffee maker and hairdryer! The kids loved the pool and the grounds were resort-like.

Breakfast had plenty of variety, and very friendly service. Easy walking distance to a number of restaurants. Didn't find Pea Soup Andersons to be "all that" for dinner (and it's on the tour bus circuit), so we would probably eat elsewhere next time.

Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express-Santa Nella a few times, and have never been disappointed.

The location provides easy access to I-5, with restaurants, service stations and other traveler necessities located close by, without the congestion of the larger cities.

The spacious rooms are well maintained, clean, and comfortable. In room refrigerators and coffee makers are a plus!

We haven't used the pool, but it looks attractive, located in a lush courtyard surrounded by palm trees.

The complimentary continental breakfast offers the standard selections of fruit, pastries, cereals and so forth, and the hostess always seems to keep the dining area clean and well supplied.

The room prices are fairly modest, especially in comparison to the nearby bay area.

All in all, this is definitely one of our favorite stops!
