I recently stayed in this guest house for an intended 3-4 days, however, due to being mugged on the third night, I ended up staying for about 8 days whilst I recovered. I couldn't have stayed at a better place. The staff were really accommodating, and went beyond the call of duty to help us. They discounted the room rate for us, and the manager even offered to lend us some of his own money when we were short of cash. The room was cleaned daily, and when we were not feeling up to going out for dinner, they ordered us a take-away from a local pizza place, and brought it up to our room. The room was large, and the beds had amazing memory foam mattresses and comfortable bedding. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had hot water (although it was far too hot during the day to appreciate that). We were charged 8dollars per night, for two people in a three-bed room. The staff collected us from the bus station upon arrival for no charge, and sorted out our departure to Siem Reap at a very reasonable cost.
The only problems we encountered were the food, and the building site behind the building site behind the hotel. One day we ordered a bowl of noodles which took 90 minutes to be cooked. It was very expensive, you are better off going out for all your meals. The building site didn't bother me as I am a heavy sleeper, but woke my partner up at 6am every morning when the drilling started - of course this wasn't the hotel's fault.
I highly recommend this guest house to most groups of people.
