My family went to Chow's on a Sunday morning for breakfast. We sat down to enjoy a nice meal and all seemed well. Soon a waiter came by and the man at the table next to us asked for the outdoor heater to be turned off. I asked if we could turn it down but keep it on for my 2-year old daughter. The customer started to yell at me for sitting 6 inches from his fianace and began to verbally abuse us using a lot of profanity. The wait staff were as shocked as we were. I let it go and asked the wait staff to put another heater on the other side of the table and moved our daughter. The wait staff was slow, which is common at Chow's. When the waiter did arrive he was very rude and again I let it go. I went inside to see if I could get some help from one of the regular staff and she advise me to talk to the manager. A young man listened patiently and assured me to get a better waiter to our table and that if we had any more trouble he would remove the customers. Upon finishing this sentence the fiance saw me talking to the manager and got up and stated loudly that I had been a [--] long enough and the profanity started to fly once again. I was in shock. At that time another manager( I believe he was the general manager) interceded and told me I needed to move. One customer interupted and stated I did nothing wrong, defending me from the attacks. The general manager refused to take any action and at that point we left. I have been a daily take out customer for over a year and have supported this establishment even with the bad service. But today took the cake and I will never vist Chow's again and will urge my friends and staff to the same. Something has to be done.
