We booked this hotel as a prenight through AAA/Carnival. Turned out to be great, although I was worried it was a little further away from the pier. It was actually a quick taxi ride, only cost us $8. After we got in from the airport, we took a taxi over to the Queen Mary to get the lay of the land and enjoy the Scottish Festival going on there. We ended up spending several hours doing the self tour and enjoying the bagpipers. The hotel room itself was beautiful, very clean with lots of nice amenities. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Would recommend.

Booked a king, got two doubles - had to request the change... the view was better with the double room. Clean, great decorating, very quiet. Staff was great on giving advice on where to go and how to get there. Would stay here again.

Stayed two nights here and I did not enjoy my stay.
My room had an interconnecting door, well, it may as well not have been there. I could hear everything next door (!), eg. tv at 5am and also things you don't want to hear.
When I went to the front desk to try and swap to a different room, the staff were not very helpful, and not very understanding of my problem, which resulted in me keeping the room (I am writing this review from there now, very disgruntled!), eventhough hotel was not sold out.
Also the heavenly bed was not so heavenly! Maybe if it was made properly and the sheets actually fitted the size of the mattress! But I woke up in the night with my feet on bare mattress, and the mattress topper all crumpled up in big creases poking in my ribs!

But on a positive note, bell staff are very friendly and helpful, in-room tv takes travel dvd player and nice view and location.

This Hotel is located Right in Down Town Long Beach. It is close to everything.

The staff is very friendly and courteous. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bedding is so wonderful and the showers,WOW!!!! No wonder they call it heavenly.

The bar downstairs is just great and the bartender was very cool.
They have a very small pool but nice and the gym is great with a nice Sauna.

I will recommend this hotel to anybody going to Long Beach and I will definitely go back.
