Beware to anyone who thinks they have a reservation at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms 6 months in advance (and called a week before to confirm) for a conference we were attending at the convention center. Upon our arrival, we were handed a letter stating that the hotel was overbooked and they were moving us to another Best Western. The woman at the front desk insisted it was the same distance from the convention center. Not the case whatsoever and in fact the hotel was in a bad part of town and it would require a bus ride to the convention center. We asked how it was decided who would be moved and she said the manager decided. He decided two days before we arrived and no one called to inform us of this. The manager was conveniently unavailable during check-in time. They also insisted they called all the other hotels in the area, but there were no rooms. Luckily we found one a block away on our own. The Marriott across the street was shocked by the customer service we recieved at the Best Western, and although they were booked up, they called several other hotels in an attempt to help us. I am aware that hotels overbook regularly, but it was overbooked by 25 rooms. I was most disappointed that no one called to inform us of the overbooking. I was appaulled by the customer service at this Best Western and I hope this encourages you to stay elsewhere.
