The rooms are well equipped. You can tell that they try hard to impress. The outside looks decent, especially considering the location. We found very little around the motel that was as nice as this place.

Our room had a TV, Microwave, Iron, Ironing Board, Massage Shower Head and the room appeared clean. We had a non smoking room and it nice.

If you want an affordable room that is nice then you could do much worse.

After switching rooms twices, we finally managed to secure a non-smoking room that didn't reak of cigarettes. Room was decently sized, and featured a nice vanity area. Continental breakfast was a bit weak, but other than that, stay was fine - got what we paid for.

The rooms are good size, newly remolded with new carpet, matresses, and dressers. The A/C worked, the shower worked, but there was a little mold on the tile. The toilet ran every 15 minutes or so, but it flushed fine. There is a small pool and hot tub. It is not in the best part of town, but if you don't walk around after dark, that's fine. The "free" breakfast was only some bad bagels, and donuts, cereal, and juice from one of those machines. It's not worth it. Most of the rooms have fridges and microwaves. You are better off buying something at the nearby grocery store than having the free breakfast. All in all, this is one of the cheaper places to stay in Long Beach, but it's clean. If you understand that, you won't be disappointed.

My daughter and I checked in early as to avoid the previous nights experience at the Guest House on Pacific Coast Hiway, lets just say, "over-priced' for what you got. The comfort Inn was a good experience from check in to check out. The young man at the counter was professonal and had a great sence of humor. He even asked me about dicounts I might be eligible for and we found one, even gave me credit toward my soughtwest air rapid reward program. The price I paid was well below what I see on the computer. I stayed Sunday night 11/23 03.
