I drove for 3.5 hours to get to the Comfort Inn, and was immediately disappointed. The hotel itself is not half of what it seems in the pictures. In fact, it was located in a rather sketchy part of town, across the street from a laundrymat and used car dealership. While the desk staff was helpful, they placed us in a room that was situated behind a small retail center, which means we had to walk by the dumpsters just to get to our room. We asked for a room change, and they gave us a smoking room, resulting in a third room switch. While I know the continental breakfast is free and all, the least they could do is have a few bagels. Instead, they actually had a loaf of old bread for the patrons to eat, along with some cereal. Not exactly the meal of champions. However, the rooms themselves are decent, if you tell yourself how much you are actually paying for it. Overall, I would not stay here again, just because I really don't enjoy lugging all my stuff from room to room and eating horrid food, as well as not feeling unbelievably safe at night. A nice room on the first try, a bagel, and a good night's sleep is not too much to ask, but apparently it was too much for the Comfort Inn to comply with.
