We tried their park and fly package and I don't think I would do it again. The whole place is just kind of sleezy. When it came time to take the shuttle in the morning, we were informed the driver had an emergency and for us to take a cab and they would pay for it. We had to wait for them to then call the cab...even though they knew we had signed up for a certain time, etc., I don't know why they were surprised when we showed up for our ride and then called the cab. The driver wasn't too happy about having to collect the fare from the hotel.
When we arrived back in Long Beach, we were informed the shuttle had stopped running and to take a cab, etc. The driver wasn't too happy about having to go in and collect. We didn't tell him until we got to the hotel, in case he didn't want to take us without money up front.
We were turned off by this place as soon as we walked in. I'll try another hotel next time.

First off let me say I have been booking hotels for our soccer club for five years, and this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Rooms were not ready they sent us to the lounge to wait. Construction going on, we had to step over the workers and thier tools. Out of the 26 rooms we had reserved, 21 had serious problems. Ranging from nail clipping on the beds, and urine and blood on the sheets. One guest had to plunge her own toilet. Unless you are in a bind. Stay away from this place. They have housekeeping problems

I don't know what Holiday Inn some of you with the bad reviews were staying at, but it surely wasn't the same one I spent 7 days (July 13-20) at.

The staff was extremely helpful and easy to deal with in all facets (Besides giving me wrong directions to the 7-11, but if that's the worst thing to come out of it, big deal).

The view was unbelievable and the rooms were always clean.

The only downfall I have with this is the housekeeping, who claimed to not understand English and walked in on me after I had just gotten out of the shower, despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign being up.

Other than that, I'd definately reccomend this place to anyone who will be staying in Long Beach. The location is good, the price is extremely reasonable and the staff is top notch.

I arrived into Long Beach early on a Friday Morning I called the "other Hotel" I usually stay at and to my surprize there were no rooms available even after i had checked with them just two days before and was assured they had plenty of room. I was traveling with 4 other ppl and was now stuck with no room for the night. I called a couple of other Hotels that were also sold out.. on the last call I made to the Holiday Inn ,airport lgb they came through when no one else could- the courtisy shuttle driver came to the airport in about 10 min picked us up they not only found me a room for the night but let us check in early..for a great price too..the shuttle drive then took us everywhere we wanted to go and he did it with a smile . our flt home the next day was not untill late , they held our luggage and still set up the shuttle servie to run us around and take us to the airport even though we had already checked out..They went above and beyond and they did it with a happy courtious attitude..it was awesome...
