I took my wife and three kids to the high school state title game for the weekend. We stayed two nights. It was clean, spacious, and friendly. The full breakfast saved me a lot of $$. The area was good too. I'm a picky neat freak so don't worry. You can't go wrong here. Everything was recently renovated too. We were in a 2 story 3 room suite with 3 TVs, a kitchen, and 2 bathrooms. And oh yeah, it was cheaper than anything in its class! What a great weekend!

I stayed here when travelling on business in Long Beach. Set up primarily for longer terms guests, the room I had was very spacious with a large bed, sitting area, fully equiped kitchen, bathroom and small dressing area. The room was kept very clean.
The hotel provides a grocery shopping service for no additional charge which is a lovely touch and very convenient. A reasonable buffet style breakfast is also provided which includes hot food.
The hotel is near the airport and I found it a little isolated as I did not have my own transportation.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

My Mom, brother, two young nephews and I had to travel to Long Beach for my cousin's wedding. After reading the most recent reviews on here, I decided to book this Hotel.

First of all, despite some of the older reviews that questioned the area the hotel is located, I felt that the area was just fine, and didn't feel unsafe at all. The hotel is gated with a security gaurd posted at the entrance at night.

Since there were 5 of us we got the largest suite, which was a two story loft style room with a bedroom and full bath upstairs, a seperate bedroom and full bath downstairs, a large livingroom with pull out sofa bed and fireplace, a dinning table for 6, and a full kitchen. The room also included a full breakfest in the morning, not bad for a AAA rate of $189 a night. It was clean and updated. I have no complaints about the room.

About the bad apple... Basically I let her know that on days we needed housekeeping service we didn't get it, and on days we didn't want it, we got it. We kept our luggage keys in a platic bag on the desk, and on the day we didn't want service but got it, we returned to find our room cleaned and the keys missing. I let her know we thought that housekeeping may have mistook the bag for trash and thrown it away. Her reply? " Next time you should secure your belongings a little better." Was she kidding me?? She basically told me our stuff wasn't safe in our room! I did get pretty annoyed with that answer and let her know she could have handled my problem better. BUT, she was the only real problem we had with the hotel...hence the "bad apple".

Everything else was fine with the hotel, they have a full gym which was great, and the rest of the staff was friendly. I'd consider staying here again.

This hotel has had a BEAUTIFUL renovation and we had just the most peaceful stay. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They greeted us with a smile and seemed to enjoy helping us find our way around the area and gave great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Our rooms were neat and clean and the bed was most comfortable. We can't wait to go back!!
