Had to fly in one day early for our cruise and at the last momment booked this motel. We arrived late, check in was fast and friendly, nice people. Room was very clean (my wife was impressed with the clean starched sheets). The continental breakfast was muffins and pastries,we decided to WALK around the corner to the Long Beach Cafe, excellant. Would recomend this motel and would stay there again.

Clean simple rooms for a good price. The water pressure was excellent in the shower, there is a refrigerator in room, AC worked well, and we got a LA Times in the AM. The location is convenient to the convention center. Good diner around the corner. No pool, but the ocean is close by. I felt safe, and the alley exist was just fine (no prob manuevering our PT Cruiser).

We stayed at this Inn last week for a convention we were attending. The room was nice and clean. Everything worked and the staff did their best helping us out. We stayed for 5 days.
The air conditioning did turn off when we left the room, but it did cool off quickly when we arrived. This was not much of a bother to us. I thought it was good energy saving device.
The hotel was busy during this convention. It does have a good location. We walked everywhere, used the car once. Newspaper was deliverd to the room, including the Sunday Times. Nice touch.

Rate was cheaper than the area hotels. The Inn was good. Location was good. We were satisfied.

I have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Rodeway Inn. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Unlike guests in other reviews, we did have a bathtub, and the bathroom looked to be newly remodeled. I found the hotel to be very convenient to all downtown Long Beach activities. While it is true that the AC will not run while you are out of the room, the room cools down very quickly and we did not find this to be an insurmountable problem. For the price, this accomodation is great.
