Just a cautionary tale to let people know that if you book your room through a third party at this hotel, ALWAYS confirm your reservation. We had booked this hotel with Priceline using the Name Your Price feature. I called the hotel the day before our arrival to let them know we would be arriving very late and they could not find our reservation. After numerous calls back and forth between me, Priceline and the hotel, the bottom line was the hotel would not honor the price I received on Priceline, even though we had confirmed reservations. According to the "Revenue Manager", it was my fault for booking through a 3rd party and that he would happily give me a room at full price ($189.00).
I would like to point out that Priceline was VERY helpful on their end and as upset about it as I was. I could not have imagined what would have happened had we arrived at the hotel at midnight as planned - we would have slept in the lobby, I guess. We did the Priceline thing again and got a room at the LAX Hilton for my original offer and were pleased - I have already written a positive review for them.
To be fair, I did call Radisson Corporate Customer Service to complain, as I was pretty appalled by the whole experience. They offered to intervene on my behalf, since I had already gotten the room at the Hilton I told them there was no need, but that they should indeed look into it to avoid future problems.
After over an hour of international long distance charges, not to mention the lost time and hassle involved the day before our trip and I don't have good feelings about the Radisson LAX. I would triple check your reservations with them, unless of course, you paid full price!
