Brand spanking new with everything shiny, clean, and new. Rate was excellent, service great. We woke up late and missed breakfast which means the place was quiet. Good place to stay with families. Away from the freeway but off a main room (down a ways) and easy to find. We will go back soon. I felt my kids and I were safe in this place.

This was our second stay at this property. The first was OK, because we were on the quiet backside of the bldg. This was by accident, since they did not give us our originally requested room.

On our second stay we, were in a room facing the road and the traffic noise was ongoing through the night. We also had an obnoxious next door neighbor who had their tv volume at the highest level. We could actually hear every word from the show. I called the front desk to address this, but it didn't quiet down right away. I think it was another neighbor knocking on the door that actually took care of the issue. Not the best of service at this place. We try to avoid the congestion of Monterey when we visit the Aquarium, but I think we'll try another property next time.

We were there for only 1 night as we were traveling through the area. This hotel is very clean and newly built with decent size rooms. It is not the place for those seeking an experience. For sleeping accomodations it is very good. The hotel definitely lacks a reliable and professional front desk agent (at least at night). The employee could not locate my reservation on the computer because he said it was down but followed up by saying not to worry. In fact you need not worry as there are many large chain newly built hotels along reservation road. But if you stay, parking is easy and lighted. Forget about the breakfast unless box cereal is your thing. For the price($67 at the time for a studio) it is a decent choice for those seeking a quiet, clean, no frills place to sleep.

We have stayed at this Ramada several times this year while visiting our new grandbaby. We have yet to receive a room on the "quiet" side (away from Reservation Road), although we request it each time. We too had trouble with the loud and frigid air system.
BUT, the room is large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is fine. The staff is polite.
I've been able to get a room for $70+ each time we've stayed and I think that is reasonable for the amenities.
