I live locally but wanted to stay in a hotel that was close to where my daughter's graduation was at Loyola Marymount University. The Hotel was great, with beautiful views of the channel and a gorgeous sunset while we sipped our wine and ate our fabulous meal at the hotel restaurant. The rooms were large but the decor a bit on the older side. The price was very reasonable as all the larger "Name Brand" hotels were over $200 for the night and already sold out by the time I went to make a reservation in January. The food was fresh, hot and extremely delicious. We were shocked that hotel food could be so good! Overall a wonderful place to stay, weather just for one night, a short weekend get-a-way or a week long vacation. It's very close to Hollywod, Westwood, Santa Monica and only 1/2 hour to Disneyland, yet the ambiance of a beach setting. I definitely will visit again.
