We stayed in room 320, a Garden Suite room, for two nights. The room was large, comfortable and clean, but it was not worth $275/night. We had a special two-for-one deal, so we paid $275 for two nights. The first thing that happened when we hung our coats up in the closet was that the bar holding the hangers crashed down to the ground. The next thing we noticed was that they had the flimsiest toilet seat ever seen. On the plus side, the room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Everything seems to be falling apart, though. The dresser drawers barely opened, and all the marble in the bathroom and around the fireplace is cracked.
The room was the best part about our stay, however, We made the mistake of having our anniversary dinner in the hotel restaurant and experience the worst service EVER. Slow and dim-witted and forgetful. At one point after about a 40-minute wait between courses, the waitress said that our main course would be right out...it was at least another 20 minutes before they appeared. The food was good but certainly not worth the wait or the irritation.
Go to The Moose Cafe for a wonderful dinner with great service! We went there on our second night and were very happy with our meal.
